WHY GET AN EVALUATION?

Turning uncertainty
into a Clearpath forward

Whether you’ve noticed your child struggling in ways other kids don’t or a teacher, doctor, or therapist suggested a closer look, the question is the same:

What’s really going on, and what would
make things easier for your child?

Those questions deserve real answers.
That’s what an evaluation is for.

An accurate evaluation
does more than put
a name to a challenge.

It validates painful struggles, explains the reason behind them,
and gives everyone involved a clear path forward.

And practically speaking, it's the document
that makes everything else possible.
IEPs & school accommodations
ABA authorization & recertification
Legal cases & tuition reimbursement
Insurance approval
Therapy & treatment planning
OPWDD & developmental services
For the child waiting for support, the right evaluation is the beginning
of a very different — and very hopeful — future.

"They gave us a way
to finally understand him.”

“We spent years wondering why certain things were
so much harder for our son than for other kids.
Clearpath didn’t just give us a diagnosis
— they gave us a way to finally understand him.
And they did it faster than we thought possible.”

— Parent, Staten Island

The evaluation
opens the door.
We make sure
everyone walks
through it.

We also work closely with ABA providers, attorneys,
multidisciplinary teams, and schools throughout the process so you can move from evaluation to actual support as smoothly as possible.

Evaluations,
the way they
were meant to be

No one should have to keep struggling
while the system figures itself out.
Here’s how we make the process clearer, faster,
and more supportive from beginning to end.

  1. 1. Get Started

We verify your insurance, answer your questions, and send you forms digitally so you can complete the intake from home.

  2. 2. Meet with our team

You’ll meet with a clinician virtually or in person. Some evaluations only require one appointment, while others may involve additional testing or follow-up visits.

  3. 3. We prepare your report

Using modern tech to speed up the process, we prepare a comprehensive report. Every evaluation is reviewed and approved by experienced clinicians.

  4. 4. Get your results

We send you the report, walk you through the results, recommendations, and next steps — and make sure any schools, providers, and attorneys involved have what they need too.

"Clearer and faster
than I ever expected.”

“Honestly, I was dreading the whole process.
But from the first phone call to the final report,
everything was clearer and faster than I ever expected.
Someone was always there to answer my questions,
and I never once felt lost or forgotten.”

We're here to help

You don’t have to figure that out. Tell us what you’re noticing and we’ll point you in the right direction during intake.

Typically a few weeks — sometimes less for shorter evaluations like ABA referrals. During intake, we’ll give you a clear timeline for your specific evaluation.

A psychoeducational evaluation focuses on learning differences and is the go-to for school accommodations and IEPs. A neuropsychological evaluation is broader, covering attention, memory, executive function, and emotional regulation. It’s used for more complex cases.

If you’re not sure which one you need, we’ll figure it out together during intake.

Usually not. Most commercial insurance plans and Medicaid don’t require one. If yours does, we’ll let you know and help you sort it out.

Yes. While most of our clients are children, we perform many evaluations for adults as well.

This is the beginning
of something better

The answers are out there. The support exists. The only thing standing between your child and the help they need is the right evaluation.
